Committees

Our committees are chaired by Directors of the Board as outlined in the By-Laws.  Our committees work independently and together to ensure accountability and progress on the work of CK Pride.  Volunteering for a committee allows you to work behind-the-scenes in proposing, planning and organizing.  This requires a greater time commitment, training, knowledge base, and intensity of work than general volunteering.  To become a member of a committee, contact us at info@ckpride.com or submit an application form below. We will contact you for an interview to start our Right Person, Right Place process.

Volunteer

As a volunteer led and run not-for-profit organization, we rely on the each other to make things happen for our community. There’s a wide range of ways and opportunities you can volunteer for CK Pride: From working events, doing chores or repairs at Bill’s Place, to committee work. Your time commitment can range from being on-call, one off events, to several times a week.

You can give us much or as little information as you wish.
Please note that committee work requires a more formal active commitment and ability to engage in behind-the-scenes planning, teamwork, independent critical reflection, and higher levels of responsibility and accountability.
